For National Iced Tea Month, we partnered with the coolest coldest T we know, Ice-T, to promote SONIC’s new Frozen Sweet Teas. A six-foot-tall, 600-pound Ice-T ice sculpture holding a microphone, set on the roof of GS&P’s SF headquarters and slowly melting—drip, drip, drip—was streamed on Facebook Live. When the mic dropped, the first 100 fans to comment won limited-edition Ice-T shirts that change color in the freezer. We also made some spots.

GS&P LABS

What if your Instagram feed was all around you as you walked through the city?

That’s the challenge GS&P LABS, Goodby Silverstein & Partners’ in-house innovation department, tackled with its new prototype, GRAMAR. The new prototype fuses Instagram and ARKit by turning Instagram photos into 8ft x 8ft images and places them in the world around you via augmented reality. Users can then spawn content from their favorite accounts and experience them like never before on street corners, down sidewalks and even within buildings.

Every day millions of commands are spoken into the Xfinity Voice Remote. It already seems a bit magical to say your favorite show or movie into your Voice Remote, and then see it a moment later on your TV. But we noticed people were asking their Voice Remotes to deliver much more than just their favorite content.

So for the holiday season, we developed a campaign showing how the technology gives back in more surprising ways. The “Magic Remote” campaign showcases short documentary stories based on real voice commands. The stories feature real customers, including a military couple who are granted the wedding of their dreams, an elderly woman who receives a new piano to play for her community, and a mom who wanted to give her son a toy as imaginative as he is.
