    Meet LiMu Emu and Doug, Liberty Mutual’s new dynamic duo with one mission: to help people customize their insurance so they only pay for what they need. 

    LiMu isn’t the most well-trained spokes-animal on the block. He’s actually nothing more than a wild bird in a perfectly starched yellow uniform and sunglasses. But what he lacks in actual skills he more than makes up for with a catchy, rhyming name. Doug, on the other hand, is a highly trained customizable-insurance expert who serves as LiMu’s wrangler and partner in crime. Together, they’re unstoppable when it comes to saving people from one-size-fits-all insurance.

    The new campaign, which harks back to classic buddy-cop series like Starsky and Hutch, launches with three spots showing the characters springing into action.

    This year, Doritos® added fire to classic Nacho Cheese to create new Doritos® Flamin’ Hot Nacho. So we turned up the heat on classic tracks in collaboration with Chance the Rapper to create one of Super Bowl LIII’s most shareable campaigns. Chance produced and recorded hot new remixes of iconic songs by Lionel Richie and the Backstreet Boys—yes, we all want it that that way—and paid homage to their original music videos with stunning visuals, hilarious cameos, and choreography by Grammy nominee Ryan Heffington. Doritos Flamin’ Hot Nacho. It’s the original, only #NowItsHot

    With the help of Michael Bublé, bubly will become a household name (whichever way you pronounce it) during this year’s Super Bowl. The :30 commercial that saw Michael adding ‘é’ to all kinds of words, is quickly turning into a social phenomenon as thousands of people have taken to adding their very own ‘é’ to cans of bubly.

  • Zanardi: Human Meets Machine

    The Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona marked the exciting kickoff to BMW Motorsport’s racing season in North America. But this year was special.

    This year Italian racing legend Alex Zanardi joined BMW to race the #24 BMW M8 GTE in the famed 24-hour endurance race. Zanardi lost both of his legs in a CART crash in 2001. He would race again with prosthetic legs, but found them inadequate for long-term usage required in endurance racing. In order for Zanardi to race on a team with three other drivers, BMW leveraged their engineering expertise and built a one-of-a-kind steering wheel that made steering, shifting, and controlling the throttle possible using only his hands and a unique lever to break and downshift through turns. 

    Returning for one race before training for the 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo, we jumped at the opportunity to honor Zanardi for the inspiration he is, and the engineering that went into making this possible with this film: We wanted to showcase Zanardi’s inspirational return and the BMW technology that made it possible, and champion them each as the ultimate inspiration and the Ultimate Driving Machine. This marks the first work from Matt Edwards and Wes Phelan, our newest Creative Directors.
