What if your Instagram feed was all around you as you walked through the city?

    That’s the challenge GS&P LABS, Goodby Silverstein & Partners’ in-house innovation department, tackled with its new prototype, GRAMAR. The new prototype fuses Instagram and ARKit by turning Instagram photos into 8ft x 8ft images and places them in the world around you via augmented reality. Users can then spawn content from their favorite accounts and experience them like never before on street corners, down sidewalks and even within buildings.

Golden Gate Bridge’s 75th Anniversary

  • May 27th, 2012 marked the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge’s 75th anniversary. Goodby Silverstein & Partners, an ad agency founded in San Francisco, has had a long-standing relationship with the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy.

    Rich Silverstein served for fifteen years on the board of the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, where he helped make them into a brand that is the envy of our country’s park system.

    For the bridge’s 75th anniversary, we challenged ourselves to have people see the bridge, one of the most photographed and iconic American symbols, in a way they never had before.

    GS&P’s photographer and senior art director, Claude Shade, was granted access to areas of the bridge that are otherwise strictly off-limits. The shots offer never-before-seen angles of the Bridge’s classic art deco architecture. The photos were then doctored to stay in-theme with the iconic bold “international orange” color and color blocking aesthetic Rich Silverstein made famous in our previous print work.

    To get NFL fans amped up for the upcoming season, Pepsi wanted to go big… and musical. So, we went into the NFL Films vault and dug out one of their classic songs, “The Equalizer” by Sam Spence

    This ode to football fandom stars a variety of NFL characters, from players like Antonio Brown, Luke Kuechly, and Dak Prescott, to personalities like Terry Bradshaw and Carolina Panthers mascot, Sir Purr. But the screaming, singing, beat-boxing, mean-muggin’ fans stole the show.
