Communications Strategist

What does a  Communication Strategist do?

Assist team in the day-to-day implementation of communication strategies and plans.


What are the key responsibilities?

Support the Senior Communication Strategist you work with in their day-to-day role

Conduct research and analysis

Create, manage and track media authorizations and billing

Help manage fulfillment of media, including media partner relations and programs

Learn the fundamentals of media

Follow the advertising trade press and conversations

Begin to build relationships with Brand Strategists


What qualities are we looking for?

What skills and experience should you already possess?

Senior Research & Analytics Manager

We are looking for a creative thinker and dynamic storyteller to join our Research/Analytics Department - a division of our strategy team.

The right person will have experience in (and a facility for) analyzing social data, deriving fascinating insights from the data and then relaying those insights in a compelling and engaging way to a team of non-data types - in a way that even a five year old could understand.

This role works within the creative world of advertising and has the fun (and oh-so-important) job of providing the spark that inspires the creative teams to develop the award winning work that we are known for. We will be dealing with all things social and really relying on the data in order to make creative decisions.

Day-to-day activities could include:  

Own and lead projects from start to finish, setting the R/A strategic direction for their accounts

Actively mentor Junior R/A Strategist and/or R/A Strategist(s)

Hold a room and have excellent presentation skills    

Craft precise measurement brief and lead internal and external teams through the process    

Manage and build client relationships

Ability to tell compelling and insightful stories using data

Synthesize results into clear and visually-pleasing dashboards, reports, and/or client presentations

Lead a team to help execute against client deliverables

Provide actionable insights to inform campaign optimization and client decision-making



3+ years prior analytics experience, emphasis on social

Managing experience a plus

Advanced Excel skills

Ad effectiveness research experience a plus

Experience working in the social media and/or digital media space

Must be able to bring in a sample of a report that you have written demonstrating your ability to analyze data, not just report it.
