Junior Research Strategist Intern
This opportunity starts now, in January 2023. This is a hybrid role. We are looking for someone who can work 20-40 hours a week and come into the office some of the time. We are located in downtown San Francisco.
Research is just the tool, while the thinking is what drives the discovery of powerful insights. Your job is to contribute to the GS&P research strategy discipline through curiosity, empathy and creative thinking.

Creativity when it comes to determining the types of questions to ask and the way the answers are interpreted.
Role & Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day running of research studies. Assist and manage details of ad hoc projects so projects are completed on time and accurately.
Build and maintain solid and professional relationships with our research partners. Manage them when needed to complete projects on time and accurately.
Investigate and ask questions of internal stakeholders (or clients) to tease out research objectives.
Be a keen “fact hunter” – using client info & secondary data – while leveraging your experiences and knowledge to interpret the information.
Pull together top-line reports, while continuously thinking about and experimenting with new ways of visualizing data.
Identify and correct implicit bias, racism or other prejudices in any stage of the research process from design and hypotheses development through analysis
Become an expert on WARC, Mintel and other third-party data sources
Build strong relationships with your teammates
Learn the basic research toolkit:
Screener design and set-up quotas
Understand the differences between and when to use different scale structures
Understand the fundamentals of advanced analytic tools (for example, statistical testing) and be able to explain the results
Confidently know how to program and pull data in Qualtrics
Contribute to a discussion guide design and screener development
Identify key themes coming out of the qualitative research studies
