HR Generalist - Employee Relations/Recruiter
We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic addition to our HR team in a fast-paced, creative culture. Must have experience in employee relations and performance management/employee development. Ideally, would also have experience recruiting in an agency environment.
Work with department heads across the agency to ensure performance reviews are being conducted in a constructive, thorough and timely manner.
With the guidance of our Director of Career Development & Culture, help manage employee performance issues as they come up.
Establish proactive ways to get to know new hires, current employees and managers (check-ins).
Create programs to help connect new hires and current employees (buddy lunches or mentoring opportunities).
Source and vet candidates for a variety of positions in Account Management, Strategy, Research and Analytics, Administration and Finance as needed.
Organize and facilitate interview process for candidates and managers internally.
Responsible for checking references.
Additional HR projects as needed
Examples include support with culture and events, learning and development, reporting, etc.
QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE
4-6 years of experience in a service agency (for example, advertising, PR, architecture, design) or high tech.
Experience with the candidate tracking system, Greenhouse would be a plus.
Experience in managing employee relations issues with care and diligence.
Responsible and trustworthy.
Approachable and empathetic.
Self-starter. Confident and able to take ownership and work autonomously.
Appreciate a creative environment - good sense of humor and able to roll with things.
