Creative Workflow Manager
Creative Workflow Manager
This is an internal-facing role that is responsible for managing the creative workflow of one of our largest accounts, specifically supporting the creative leads on their specific pillars of the business. Think of this like a Chief of Staff for the creative directors.
While the main responsibility would be working directly with creatives, this role would also be responsible for communicating out updates and priorities to the rest of the team, working closely with the account management group to ensure everyone is working from the same information and expectations.
Specifically, this role is responsible for:
Helping orchestrate our day-to-day process, as it relates to creative development and creative director’s time. This includes proactive communication, active participation, and constant problem solving and anticipating conflicts, including:
Prioritizing meetings + projects
Communicating shifts
Daily updates to CD and account team on changes
Long term planning to juggle workload, upcoming conflicts, travel, and vacation days
Daily meetings and hot-lists with the Creative Director(s) to manage workflow; what’s coming up, what’s happened, what needs to shift, etc.
Actively managing their calendar/schedules, and helping them balance daily workflow accordingly, including:
Proactively providing updates to the account team for weekly status meetings, to report on workflow and schedule for week ahead
Scheduling check-ins with creative teams for each project CD is responsible for, and communicating to the team when meetings have happened (or haven’t, and why)
Communicating creative resourcing needs, in tandem with the Account Director, to Creative Resource Manager
Maintaining creative team status by project with Creative Resource Manager
Inputing to account team on project timelines, based on CD availability and bandwidth
Qualifications:
Thrive and enjoy being in a creative, deadline-driven and fluid environment
Be flexible to the ever-changing schedules and needs of those you are supporting
Be proactive, anticipate needs, and be responsive.
Highly organized, strong attention to detail and time management
Clear communication in person, over the phone, via email or text
Must be resourceful and have the desire and ability to solve problems of any size or magnitude
Ability to properly manage time and priorities
Approachable and empathetic
We are working in a hybrid manner. The right person would need to come into the office 2-3 days a week. We are in downtown San Francisco.
This role is not responsible for project managing specific projects. This responsibility falls to the account team, and the account team will communicate needs directly to CD + Creative Workflow Manager at the same time.
If you think you have the skills we are looking for, we look forward to hearing from you.
