Freelance Account Manager


We have an immediate opportunity for a Freelance Account Manager with a minimum of three to four years of advertising agency experience.

We are looking for candidates who can do the following:

Pro-actively lead the development process from ideas through execution

Support the growth and invest time in the development of the Assistant Account Managers on the account

Consistently bring independent, thoughtful POV’s to the table

Write and present clearly and persuasively

Champion great creative work

Is a trusted and empathetic partner to clients

Negotiate high-pressure situations in a positive, calm, objective, professional way

Take accountability to navigate and communicate timelines and deliverables

Stay positive, and knows how to keep people motivated


You must have prior advertising agency experience, working in account management or project management with client contact. 

You have experience with broadcast production - and can manage a broadcast shoot.

Account Managers are responsible for managing people and processes, so it is essential that you have prior management experience.

We are Jill Sammons and Leslie Bee. Together we have been at GS&P a total of 38 years working in a variety of roles, across several departments. We have been hosting office hours sessions since April, shortly after we started shelting-in-place. We created these office hours as a way to help you get answers to your career questions.

Please join us for our next office hours session on Tuesday, October 27th from 2:00-3:30pm PST. 

This session is geared to those who are new in their career and/or just starting out. If you are a current college student, recent college graduate and/or trying to break into advertising, we hope you will reach out. (If you are a junior creative, please join the creative office hours sessions that we host from time to time)
